Get first hand experience of our learning culture. After all, a Toastmasters meeting is a learn-by-doing workshop in which participants hone their speaking and leadership skills in a no-pressure atmosphere. There is no instructor in a Toastmasters meeting. Instead, members evaluate one another’s presentations. This feedback process is a key part of the program’s success. Meeting participants also give impromptu talks on assigned topics, conduct meetings and develop skills related to timekeeping, grammar and parliamentary procedure.
Most of the training happens at the meetings. Those meetings follow a specific agenda which supports and trains all relevant parts of being a good communicator and leader.
Just visit us in our meetings on the second and fourth Tuesday of a month. The upcoming meetings are listed on the right side of this page. At the meeting you can meet our members and get a feeling for the atmosphere. If you decide to join us, just fill out the simple membership form on the “Join Us” section of our website and follow the instructions there. Being a member of a Toastmasters club involves paying a small yearly fee to sustain the club and gain us membership to the biggest communication training network in the world. The one-time registration fee is 40€ and it includes your first two training manuals. The membership fee amounts to 120€ a year and includes access to an even bigger pool of resources at our mother site from Toastmasters International and a subscription to the monthly Toastmaster Magazine.
